You are under no obligation to provide personal information of any kind to use the site. However, if you choose to email me, or make a comment to a post, you must provide your name and email address. In the comment form, only your name will be displayed.
Likewise, I keep your name and email address that you voluntarily give to me when you register for updates and newsletter. In these cases, the website automatically registers your IP address along with the information you give. You can of course require to be deleted from the mail list at any time.
Derivative Data
My server automatically log information like your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Site. If you are using a mobile, this information may also include your device name and type, your operating system, your phone number, your country.
The purpose is to protect the site from hackers and spam (you would not believe how many attacks such a simple blog like this experiences) and analytics. The log files are deleted after some time.
All data are kept on a secure server. They are backed up every night, and only I have access.
Third Parties
I do not share any personal information with third parties.
But I do link to third part services, such as Google Maps, You Tube, Spotify and Amazon. Once you interact with any of these services, you are not covered by my privacy policy, but theirs. Please seek the relevant information on their respective homepages.
